Albania Seeks Second Victory in Euro 2024 Qualifiers

The Albanian national team will seek their second victory tonight in the qualifying stage of Euro 2024.

The Red and Blacks have started this qualifying campaign well, putting in a good performance against Poland despite the loss, and they recently defeated Moldova.

Tonight, Sylvinho's team will visit the Faroe Islands, as reported by "Gazeta Express".

Albania is seen as the favorite in this match, and if they continue to play as they did in the first two matches of Group E, they could register a victory tonight and approach the top of the table.

Coach Sylvinho has assessed the opponent and emphasized that the Red and Blacks will give their maximum effort tonight to achieve their objective.

"We have been saying for several days that there are no easy matches, and we are preparing as best as we can. As for the situation, there is no euphoria. We have emphasized over and over again that we have six finals ahead. I expect the players to run at 100km/h so that we can achieve our objective, as that is the only way," declared the Brazilian coach in a press conference.

"The match against the Faroe Islands is completely different from the one against Moldova. It is a very difficult match. I believe that there is no place for euphoria in the team because the match against Moldova is behind us. We got three points, a very tough match, but we have closed that chapter. We have six tough matches ahead, six finals. Against the Faroe Islands, we have a strong match. We are playing against an opponent that can adapt throughout the game with different tactics. It is a highly physical game, and the Faroe Islands' players are very dangerous, especially in aerial play and set-pieces," Sylvinho continued.

The match between the Faroe Islands and Albania will kick off at 20:45.
